On Grandpa's float-boat earlier this week, on the Kemptville Creek (There is a law in Ontario that speeds must be kept to less than 10 kph (6 mph) within 30 metres (100 feet) of any shoreline.):
Jamie & AJ: Faster, Grandpa! Faster!
(Grandpa opens up the throttle a bit and the boat picks up some speed.)
Jamie & AJ: Wheeee!
(Grandpa throttles down again; boat returns to appropriate speed.)
Jamie & AJ: Again! Again!
Grandpa: I can't. It's against the law to go very quickly in the creek.
Jamie: So you just broke the law?
Grandpa: Yes! And if the police saw us, they could come and put you in jaaaail!
(Pause)
Jamie: But *you* were the one driving!
Clearly a lawyer's son.
