I've put another album of England travel photos up here. These are pictures from our trips to Shilstone Tor and Hay Tor on Dartmoor, and of an expedition to gather apples from the ground under a tree in a nearby pasture and throw them into the stream that runs through the South Zeal green. Hay Tor was yesterday, along with the House of Marbles marble factory, where each of us chose some treasures from among the Small and Medium sized marbles (I declared Giant, Massive and Enormous marbles off limits since they looked too much like weapons in the hand of a preschooler!). Today Jane and Paul have taken the boys back to Bude for another half-day at the beach, leaving me to keep the home fires burning and my leg elevated. Not sure what's wrong with the knee, but I'm going to have to find out soon.

I think I will take a leaf from my sister's book and begin to post pictures on Picasa galleries, rather than hosting them directly on my site. I'll start with this first batch of photos from our visit to Mamma Jane in England. There's one video of AJ and Jane making a sand castle; not sure how Picasa will handle it. Guess we'll find out! Perhaps soon I'll rework the Pictures button on the baxtergolding.com home page so that it offers a list of Picasa galleries; perhaps the ease with which a gallery can be created will mean we don't wind up with any more two-year gaps between postings...heh heh heh...
